Our Story So Far
Seven years ago, a group of East Cobb families began gathering to pray for their neighbors and serve their community. They soon grew in number beyond what anyone envisioned. After years of gathering and doing good, we are now the newest campus of North Point Ministries! We opened in 2020, survived a pandemic, and have had the privilege of serving our community in ways we never dreamed of. God has done more than we imagined so far, but we believe He’s just getting started. We’re just scratching the surface of our mission to love where we live in Jesus’ name.
In October 2021, we purchased land and began the process of building our very own church home on the corner of Johnson Ferry and Shallowford Roads. In March 2023, we secured our Land Disturbance Permit. We are now busy getting to work on the project! See below for information about the project timelines, ground breaking ceremony, estimated completion date and other FAQs.

As soon as possible, we will begin work on the dam and the relocation of Waterfront Drive. This is required before we can begin construction on our actual building site. It will be fun to see the dirt start to move!
-
A ground breaking ceremony can't happen until we finish the work on the dam and the road relocation. These two major steps are required before beginning construction on our actual building site.
-
We estimate that the project will take approximately two years. Many factors will determine the length of the construction, including material availability and weather. We will keep you updated as the project progresses.

Our mission is simple because we believe Jesus made it simple. We’re on a mission to love where we live, and that includes you and your loved ones and all of your neighbors! Every week we try to love where we live by serving our community, creating Sunday programs that help families, and just by being good neighbors. Please let us know if there’s any way we can serve you or someone you know.

Every month we partner with incredible organizations around our community that are working to serve those in need and solve problems faced by the most vulnerable in our community. We support them financially and by volunteering. Once a year, we join with churches all around the country and the world for our annual Be Rich Campaign, giving away millions of dollars and thousands of service hours over the course of just a few weeks.
